If secA=x+1/4x, then prove that secA+tanA . . .

Question : If secA=x+1/4x, then prove that secA+tanA=2x or 1/2x.

Solution : 

secA=x+1/4x (Given) — (1)

[∵ sec²θ=1+tan²θ]

Adding equation (1) and (2) 

sec A + tan A = 2x

Adding equation (1) and (3)

Hence proved.
