Using Remainder Theorem
g(x)=0
x-2=0
x=2

p(2) = 0 (Given)

(2)³+4(2)²-p(2)+8 = 0
8+4(4)-2p+8 = 0
8+16-2p+8 = 0
-2p+32 = 0
-2p = -32
p = -32/-2
p = 16
