Solution : 

Let the two numbers be x and y.
ATQ
x+y = 35 — (1)

x-y =13 — (2)

Solving equation (1) and (2) by elimination method.

 x + y = 35

 x - y = 13

0 + 2y = 22
__________

2y = 22
y = 22/2 
y = 11

putting in equation (1)

x + 11 = 35

x = 35 - 11
x = 24

Therefore, x = 24 & y = 11

Hence, b) would be the correct option.
