By Factorisation Method
x²+2√2x-6=0
x²+3√2x-√2x-6=0
x(x+3√2)-√2(x+3√2)=0
(x+3√2)(x-√2)=0
(x+3√2)=0 & (x-√2)=0
x=-3√2 & x=√2
Hence, x=-3√2, √2
By Quadratic Formula
x²+2√2x-6=0
a=1
b=2√2
c=-6
D=b²-4ac
D=(2√2)²-4(1)(-6)
D=8+24
D=32
Hence, x=-3√2, √2
